20th Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission to hold public input hearing |

BOULDER, Colo. – The 20th Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission will hold a public hearing on May 5, 2016, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Courtroom F at the Boulder County Justice Center, 1777 Sixth Street, Boulder, CO 80302, to take input on 20th Judicial District Judges eligible for retention in the 2016 general election.
The Judges to be reviewed this year are: District Court Judge Andrew Hartman, District Court Judge Bruce Langer and County Court Judge John Stavely.
Any person interested in commenting on the performance of these judges may speak at this hearing and/or provide a written letter to the commission. Only comments on Judges Langer, Hartman and Stavely will be accepted. Written letters may be sent to: Patrick Haines, Public Information Liaison-20th Judicial District Judicial Performance Commission, 1712 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302. Letters must include the name and address of the person submitting the comments, and the judge will receive a copy of the letter. All letters must be received by April 29, 2016. The Judicial Performance Commission will be evaluating information about the performance of judges to provide voters with a ‘Retain’ or ‘Do Not Retain’ recommendation for the Blue Books distributed to all voters before the November election.
