5th Judicial District -- Courts and probation offices in Breckenridge will be closed all day Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, for staff training purposes.

1st Judicial District -- Please be aware access to the Gilpin County Courthouse via U.S. 6 through Clear Creek Canyon will be affected by a Colorado Department of Transportation project beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018. U.S. 6 between Colorado Highway 93 and Colorado Highway 119 (milepost 260-272) will be closed for rockfall mitigation Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. During those times, there will be no parking. The project will shut down for the summer from May 1-Oct. 31, 2018, and resume Nov. 1, 2018, with an anticipated completion date of April 30, 2019. During road closures, motorists should use Interstate 70 as an alternate route.

5th Judicial District -- Probation employees in Lake County have relocated to off-site offices to accommodate work on the Lake County Courthouse in Leadville. Client contact and visitation will be conducted on the third floor of the courthouse at 505 Harrison Avenue. While they are working off-site, probation staff may be contacted at:

2nd Judicial District -- The Second Judicial District has adopted new security procedures at Denver’s Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse in order to expedite the security screening process. Effective immediately, the security screening stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. Security screening will continue to be open Wednesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Additionally, a security screening line has been dedicated for attorneys presenting attorney registration cards, and for members of the public who are not bringing briefcases, bags, backpacks, etc. into the courthouse. Wait times will be monitored and additional measures will be explored to continue reducing congestion.

5th Judicial District -- Please be aware the telephone numbers for the Clear Creek Courts and probation offices in the 5th Judicial District in Georgetown will be changing, effective on October 12th.

The telephone numbers will be changed to the following:

Please make a note of the new numbers, this is a permanent change.

12th Judicial District -- The Mineral Combined Court has relocated during construction/remodel, which will last for approximately the next 15-18 months, to the Bulldog Mine located at  625 USFS Road 504.1A, Creede, Colorado  81130.  The telephone number remains the same at 719-658-2575. 

7th Judicial District - Due to the renovation of the Ouray County Courthouse, which is projected to take 18-24 months, the Ouray Combined Courts will be relocating on August 10, 2018.  After that date, and until further notice, the court will be located at 630 Main St, Ouray, CO 81427.  The mailing address remains P O Box 643, Ouray, CO 81427.  The phone number (970)325-4405 is also unchanged.  Contact the court at that number for further information.


5th Judicial District -- Courts and probation offices in Breckenridge will be closed all day Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, for staff training purposes.

12th Judicial District -- Probation and some court operations in Alamosa will be closed the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, and all operations will be closed all day Friday, Sept. 28, to allow for the move to a new courthouse. All previously scheduled court proceedings on Sept. 27 will go forward as scheduled. Operations will reopen Monday, Oct. 1, in the new Alamosa County Justice Center at 8955 Independence Way in Alamosa. Phone numbers for court and probation offices will not change.

6th Judicial District -- In Pagosa Springs, full clerk’s office, collections and probation services are available in a new location at 46 Eaton Drive, Suite 1. That office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and phones will be answered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The new location’s phone number is 970-264-8160. Until further notice, most court operations for Archuleta County will be housed in the La Plata County Courthouse at 1060 East 2nd Avenue in Durango.
