8th Judicial District and Larimer County Access to Justice Committee offer free legal resources and help on Family Law Day |

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – People representing themselves in family law matters in the 8th Judicial District (Jackson and Larimer counties) can get free help and legal advice during a virtual Family Law Day on May 14, 2021.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. via videoconference, the Larimer County Access to Justice Committee and the 8th Judicial District Court Resource Center are offering classes and other services including ask-a-lawyer sessions for people who register in advance.
The event will offer classes including how to start a divorce or custody case, enforcing and/or modifying a family law case, guardianship and custody, parenting plan guidance, mandatory financial disclosures, dependency and neglect, self-representation in court, and why a self-represented litigant may need a child and family investigator or parental responsibilities evaluator.
