Denver Probate Court to hold legal assistance clinic

DENVER – The Denver Probate Court, in partnership with Metro Volunteer Lawyers, has scheduled a free public clinic to teach about powers of attorney and living wills, and to prepare such documents for attendees who meet income-eligibility criteria.

Volunteer attorneys will discuss powers of attorney and living wills and the benefits of completing them during a presentation at 1 p.m. Sept. 3, 2019, in Room 281 of the Denver City and County Building, 1437 Bannock Street.

Immediately after the presentation, attorneys with Metro Volunteer Lawyers will meet with income-eligible individuals to complete, sign and notarize powers of attorney and living wills.
