Traffic arraignments are our largest volume dockets. As so many people wish to see the District Attorney first, it may take 3-4 hours before your case can be heard by the Judge or handled by the Clerks. Please plan accordingly. Any fines assessed will be due at the time of sentencing.
In Fiscal Year 2015, the Summit Combined Courts handled the following new filings: 253 criminal cases; 561 large civil cases; 144 divorce cases; 63 cases involving juveniles; 62 probate cases; 435 small civil cases; 580 misdemeanors; 99 small claims; and 1,337 traffic cases.
