If you have recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19 symptoms, or you are a vulnerable individual or reside with someone who is a vulnerable individual, please call the Jury Commissioner at (970) 453-2272 to determine whether your jury service should be delayed.

To meet our safety goals it will take additional time and planning for all parties. A health assessment questionnaire will be completed verbally by all potential jurors at check-in the morning of trial and temperatures will be taken. We ask for your patience during this process.

Masks will be required at all times. For those who do not have masks, the Court will provide masks. Jurors are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer and disposable wipes.  Social distancing will be practiced.

Jurors are encouraged to bring a book or other item to keep them occupied during breaks. They will not be permitted to use during actual jury selection, but there may be more frequent and longer breaks during this modified process. Jurors are also encouraged to bring their own snacks and sack lunch. Food will not be provided during the jury selection process and many lunch locations near the Courthouse are running with limited capacity.

With everyone’s cooperation, we are confident that we can meet the safety needs of our community while assuring the rights of all parties to the proceeding. We thank you in advance for your patience, cooperation and participation.
