Traffic arraignments are our largest volume dockets. As so many people wish to see the District Attorney first, it may take 3-4 hours before your case can be heard by the Judge or handled by the Clerks. Please plan accordingly. Any fines assessed will be due at the time of sentencing.
In Fiscal Year 2013, the Summit Combined Courts handled: 216 felony cases; 687 large civil cases; 132 divorce filings; 114 cases involving juveniles; 59 probate cases; 603 small civil cases; 556 misdemeanors; 79 small claims; and 1,198 traffic cases.
