Traffic arraignments are our largest volume dockets. As so many people wish to see the District Attorney first, it may take 3-4 hours before your case can be heard by the Judge or handled by the Clerks. Please plan accordingly. Any fines assessed will be due at the time of sentencing.
In Fiscal Year 2014, the Summit Combined Courts handled: 270 felony cases; 585 large civil cases; 121 divorce filings; 84 cases involving juveniles; 70 probate cases; 515 small civil cases; 510 misdemeanors; 59 small claims; and 1,316 traffic cases.
