Traffic arraignments are our largest volume dockets. Because so many people wish to see the District Attorney first, it may take 3-4 hours before your case can be heard by the judge or handled by the Clerks. Please plan accordingly. Any fines assessed will be due at the time of sentencing.
In Fiscal Year 2010-2011, the Summit Combined Courts handled: 350 felony cases; 1,000 large civil cases; 164 divorce filings; 74cases involving juveniles; 4 mental health cases; 44 probate cases; 706 small civil cases; 620 misdemeanors; 1,042 traffic infractions; 107 small claims; and 1,413 traffic cases.
