Clerkships at the Colorado Supreme Court are full-time positions for one year beginning in August or September of each year. Each Justice hires their own law clerks. Please see the information provided below for the details on applying for a clerkship in each Justice's chambers. The current salary for clerkships is $4934 per month.

Applications requirements: cover letter, resume, law school transcript, writing sample, and three letters of reference.  Letters of reference may be sent separately.

Justice Samour is still accepting applications for clerkships beginning in the fall of 2019.

Application requirements: cover letter, resume, law school transcript, writing sample, and three letters of reference.  Letters of reference may be sent separately.  Writing samples should reflect only the applicant’s own work and should not have been edited by anyone else. 

 

Unpaid Internships 
Applications for unpaid internships are being accepted and applications need to sent to each individual Justice.  Application requirements: cover letter, resume, law school transcripts, and writing sample. References may be included.
