Chief Justice Brian Boatright - 720-625-5410
We are now accepting applications for August or September 2022-start one-year clerkships. An application should include a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation—at least one from a law school professor who knows the applicant well and at least one from a non-law school supervisor, such as someone the applicant worked for at an externship, during a summer, etc. The writing sample should reflect the applicant’s own work and, at most, minimal outside editing—please specify the amount of any such editing on the first page. Applicants may submit materials via email or mail. If applying via email, please merge all materials except letters of recommendation into a single PDF document and send to Apply.Boatright@judicial.state.co.us with the applicant’s name in the subject line. If applying via mail, send all materials except letters of recommendation to the address above. With either method, recommenders should send letters of recommendation separately, via email, mail, or—if applying via mail—providing the applicant with letters in separate, sealed envelopes to include alongside the other materials. With questions or concerns, please contact Andrew Fischer, Law Clerk & Judicial Assistant, at Andrew.Fischer@judicial.state.co.us.
