   AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING JURORS REPORTING FOR JURY DUTY:

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Notice Regarding COVID-19 (the “Novel Coronavirus”) and Jury Duty:

  Important information for jurors is now listed:  Per the adminstrative order issued by the Chief Judge for the Nineteenth Judicial district, '...due to the public health risk posed by the Novel Coronavirus (“COVID-19”).  It is imperative that active steps be taken to slow the spread of COVID-19 and precautions be strictly followed to reduce exposure to COVID-19. Given the serious threat the pandemic presents to persons participating in jury trials in the courthouse locations in the Nineteenth Judicial District, the Court will no longer summons jurors for jury trials set through July 5, 2020.'  Further, any persons with a summons to report for jury duty during the months of March, April, May, or June were/are not required to appear and are not required to be rescheduled to a new date for jury duty.

As updates become available regarding jury duty for the weeks following July 5th please call the phone recording of either (970) 475-2707 or (970) 475-2711 or go to the website of http://weld.cojury.org .

Until further notice, the court will permit persons to wear surgical masks and gloves in court and probation buildings if they so desire. Persons may also bring small plastic containers of hand sanitizer into court and probation buildings.  

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHECKING THE STATUS OF YOUR UPCOMING JURY DUTY:

There are two ways to check the status of your upcoming jury appearance:

1. Scroll up on this page, find and click on the blue reporting link that matches the location address listed in the pink box of your summons.  The reporting information for the upcoming week will be availble to view. Your location address is listed in the pink box of your jury summons.

2. You can scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the "CHOOSE THIS LOCATION" link that matches the location address listed in the pink box of the summons.  Either link will prompt to a listing of tabs to click on.  Please click on the 'Reporting Schedule' tab. The reporting information for the upcoming week will be availble to view.    Your location address is listed in the pink box of your jury summons.

3.  If you missed your jury duty date for the current or prior week and did not call or appear, please go to the bottom of this page; click on the Plaza West 'Choose this location'.  Click on the 'Reporting Schedule' page. Find the date you were summoned to report. If your juror number is or was within the range required to report, please go to the top of the page and click on the ‘Postponement Form’. A form will appear, complete the form and submit it.  This will allow the jury office to check on the status of your jury duty.  If your juror number is within the range of juror numbers posted in the 'Do Not Report' column, your service is complete.

4. Lost your jury summons and don't know your juror number or date to appear for jury duty? Please email the Jury Commissioner at lanelle.mceachron@judicial.state.co.us

        A response will be sent within one to two business days.

Juror Entrance: The one multi purpose entrance into the Weld County Plaza West Building is located on the east side of the building. The address for the Weld County Plaza West Building is 910 10th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado. Upon entering the Weld County Plaza West Building, you will be subject to search. A list of prohibit items are listed on the reporting page.

PARKING INFORMATION:  For parking information regarding Lot 2, please see map - Jury Map.   All jurors are to park in either of the two LOT 2 parking lots located off of 11th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue.  Signs for both LOT 2s are posted at the entrance of each parking lot off of 11th Street.  A parking permit will be issued after jury check in and orientation.

Additional parking is available at the Train Depot located at 10th Street and 7th Avenue. Please park on the south end of the depot. No parking permit is required.
