Other Information
County Court is generally held on Tuesday mornings. District Court is held one Tuesay per month. Contact the clerk's office for specific dates.
There are two levels of cases the Jackson County Combined Court handles.
The County Courts have jurisdiction over the following matters:
- Small Claims (up to $7,500.00)
- Civil Claims (up to $25,000.00)
- Traffic Cases
- Infractions Cases
- Misdemeanor Cases
The District Courts have jurisdiction over the following matters:
- Domestic Relations (Divorce, Child Support) Cases
- Civil Claims
- Probate Matters
- Mental Heath Matters
- Felony Cases
- Juvenile Matters, including
- Delinquency Cases
- Dependency and Neglect Cases
- Adoption Cases
- Relinquishment Cases

Court hours are between 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Other Information
There are two levels of courts in the Justice Center.
The County Courts have jurisdiction over the following:
- Small Claims (up to $7,500.00)
- Civil Claims (up to $25,000.00)
- Traffic Cases
- Infractions Cases
- Misdemeanor Cases
The District Courts have jurisdiction over the following:
- Domestic Relations (Divorce, Child Support) Cases
- Civil Claims
- Probate Matters
- Mental Heath Matters
- Felony Cases
- Juvenile Matters, including
- Delinquency Cases
- Dependency and Neglect Cases
- Adoption Cases
- Relinquishment Cases
List of Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited inside the Justice Center and are subject to seizure.
- Any form of firearm, ammunition or simulated “toy” weapon.
- Any form of knife, sharpened object, razor blades, box cutters, scissors, large handled combs or large pointed objects.
- Any form of an electronic tasing or stunning device.
- Any form of pepper spray or chemical/aerosol irritant.
- Any form of tool, large flashlight or multi-tool device.
- Any form of restraining device, including handcuff keys.
- Any form of baton, club or self defense weapon.
- Any form of an alcoholic beverage.
- Any illegal drug or drug paraphernalia.
- Marijuana, medicinal or otherwise including paraphernalia.
- Any form of metal drink containers.
Please allow up to 30 minutes to process through security screening.
Parking is available across the street to the East of the Justice Center on the corner of Mason and La Porte in the Civic Center Parking Structure. Please note that the only entrance to the Justice Center is located on the Southwest corner of the building at Civic Center Park.

Hours
Court hours are between 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday. The Clerk of Court office is closed between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
Other Information
Larimer County Court (Loveland) location has jurisdiction over County Court cases only, including the following matters:
