Bradley Varmo - Magistrate

Magistrate Varmo graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado in 1993, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 1996.  He began his legal career as a law clerk in Jefferson County, then moved to the Lakewood City Attorney’s Office as a Deputy City Attorney in 1998.  In 2002, he started as a Deputy District Attorney in the Adams County District Attorney’s Office, where he served the citizens of the Seventeenth Judicial District for over eight years.  In 2010, he entered into private practice, specializing in family law.

Magistrate Varmo has served on the boards of the Adams Broomfield Bar Association and the Colorado Magistrates Association, and was a representative on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association.  Additionally, he is a member of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association, the Colorado LGBT Bar Association and the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association.

Since becoming a Magistrate in 2014, he has presided over domestic, criminal and juvenile divisions.
