Magistrate Hansson was appointed to the Boulder County Court and District Court in January 1995. Prior to her appointment Magistrate Hansson was an associate with the law firm of Gorsuch Kirgis, LLC, and a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Lakewood, Colorado, specializing in criminal law, liquor licensing, police legal advisor and public housing. Magistrate Hansson is a 1980 graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law and a 1973 graduate of Antioch College. Magistrate Hansson’s dockets consist of county court traffic and misdemeanor arraignments, protection orders, adoptions, sealing of criminal records, and weekend jail coverage.
