Monica Haenselman - Boulder County Judge

Judge Monica Haenselman was appointed as County Court Judge in April 2023. Prior to joining the County Court bench, Judge Haenselman served in the 20th Judicial District as District Court Magistrate (November 2015 - April 2023) and Family Court Facilitator (January 2007 - November 2015).  Before beginning her career in the 20th Judicial District, Magistrate Haenselman was an associate at the law firm of LaBuda & Associates, specializing in domestic relations law, and an associate at Sonnenschien Nath and Rosenthal, in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in employment law and general commercial litigation.  Magistrate Haenselman is a 1991 graduate of Georgetown University Law center and a 1985 graduate of the University of Colorado.
