Thomas Quammen was appointed to the District Court bench for the Nineteenth Judicial District in July of 2008. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Administrative Chief Deputy District Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield counties) from January 2005 to July 2008. He was with the District Attorney’s Office for the Nineteenth Judicial District from June 1981 through December 2004, serving as the Assistant District Attorney for the last 16 years of that tenure. 

Born and raised in Greeley, Judge Quammen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado, Master’s degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder and Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
