Judge Fasing graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota in 1970. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1975, and attended the National Judicial College in 1991. From 1975 to 1979 Judge Fasing was a prosecuting attorney and then spent 12 years in private practice. He served as an Arapahoe County Judge prior to being appointed to the District Court Bench in 1995.
