Judge Wasserman graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He graduated from the University of Florida School of Law in Gainesville, Florida in 1981. Before becoming a District Court Judge in the Seventeenth Judicial District he was a Chief Trial Deputy District Attorney in the Seventeenth Judicial District and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver College of Law in Denver, Colorado . He has served as a District Court Judge for the Seventeenth Judicial District since July, 2005.
