Family Court Facilitation for all Domestic Relations Cases

You will meet with the Family Court Facilitator at the Initial Status Conference. Currently the conferences are by conference call and not in person. Read your Notice of Initial Status Conference.

  • Ask non-legal questions.

3. Deadline Reminder for all DR cases

Within 42 days of filing the Petition (or proof of service date; or waiver of service), you must file:

Within 49 days of filing the Petition (or proof of service date; or waiver of service), parents with children under 19 years of age:

  • Attend Parenting Class (this may be on line, virtual, or in person)
    • Class will provide you the certificate to file. The provider does not file this certificate.

Divorce and legal separation cases without children

  •  JDF 1115 – Property and Financial Agreement/Separation Agreement

  • JDF 1117 – Support Order (spousal support/maintenance if agreed upon)

  • JDF 1201- Affidavit for Decree

All above agreements should be jointly filed with both signatures on the same documents. If you are not in agreement, please see your domestic relations case management order requiring mediation.
