Lane P. Thomasson - Ouray County Judge

As a county court judge, Judge Thomasson’s caseload includes criminal, traffic, small claims, evictions, civil claims under $25,000.00, and civil restraining orders.

Before her appointment to the bench, Judge Thomasson worked in private practice in property law and civil litigation, as an Assistant County Attorney for the Montrose County Attorney’s Office, and as a Deputy District Attorney for the 7th Judicial District.  

Judge Thomasson received her B.A. from Smith College and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
