Jay S. Grant - 2nd Judicial District Court Judge

District Judge Jay Grant was appointed to the District Court, Second Judicial District (Denver) by Governor John Hickenlooper on April 13, 2016.  He is currently presiding over Courtroom 209 handling civil cases.

Prior to his appointment to the Denver District Court, Judge Grant worked as a lead attorney at the Denver Trial Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, where he worked for over 17 years.

Judge Grant received his B.A. and M.A. from New Mexico State University, and his J.D. from The Oklahoma City University School of Law.
