Personal

Born February 16, 1952 in Hornell, N.Y., the son of Bill and Grace Dailey; Co-captain, Bucknell University's Varsity Football Squad (1973); Academic All-American Linebacker (1973); Member, Hornell High School's Athletic Hall of Fame and Bucknell University's Athletic Hall of Fame; Married Elaine Lamping in Boulder, CO (1982); John and Elaine (now deceased) have two daughters, Erin and Brianna, two sons-in-law (Dan Kane and Riley Green), and five grandchildren (Conor Kane and Irie, Clodagh, Tully, and Renny Green).

In 2015, John married Mary Margaret Gabler.
