Honorable William Bain
Judge Bain has lived in Colorado Springs since 1997. A fifth generation native of Colorado, Judge Bain graduated from Middlebury College in 1990 and from Cornell Law School in 1996. Prior to Governor Bill Ritter appointing him to the bench in 2010, Judge Bain worked in private practice with Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley in Denver, served as a Fourth Judicial District deputy district attorney, and was a civil litigator for the City of Colorado Springs for three years.
He has served on the boards of Court Care, Safe Passage, the El Paso County Bar Foundation, and has been the president of the Ben S. Wendelken American Inn of Court. He currently presides over both a criminal and civil docket.
