Allison J. Esser - 19th Judicial District Judge

Allison Esser was appointed to the District Court bench for the Nineteenth Judicial District on July 31, 2021. Prior to this appointment, she served as an attorney for Colorado Legal Services, a position she held since 2020, working primarily on housing law and eviction defense. Previously, Ms. Esser had a private practice at AJ Esser Law, LLC (2019-2020); and served as Senior Deputy Public Defender (2013-2019) at the Colorado State Public Defender's Office in Greeley.  Ms Esser earned her B.A. from University of California Berkley in 2009, and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012.
