Donations for the needy
Morgan County offenders are regularly ordered as part of their sentence to donate food and other items to the local Caring Ministries food bank, and other local organizations in need such as the Women's Safe House.
Victim Empathy Groups (Impact of Crime Classes)
Educational program designed to teach adult and juvenile offenders how crime impacts victims and the community. Trained staff members facilitate groups.
SB94 Restitution Program
whereby juveniles (ages 10-16) earn their restitution through work crews on community projects. A community service employee is designated to supervise these juvenile work crews.
Thinking for a Change
Thinking for a Change is a cognitive and restructuring program that has been endorsed by the National Institute of Corrections. The program endeavors to help clients learn thinking skills, social skills, and problem solving skills.
