Free Childcare during Court Business (Currently Closed Until Further Notice)

The Center will be temporarily closed effective October 5, 2020 and will remain closed through the 2021 calendar year. 

Court is not a comfortable environment for young children, and therefore children are not allowed in the Courtrooms.  For your convenience, the Denver Warm Welcome Court Childcare Center, located at 520 West Colfax Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80202, provides free childcare for those who have business with Denver Courts.  For more information, please click here.

Provides procedural and general information to unrepresented parties on juvenile cases (Adoptions, Child Custody, Child Support, Modification of Parenting Issues, Modification of Child Support, Grandparent Custody/Grandparent Visitation, Expungements.

To file to establish paternity, the following forms are required (instructions can be found here):

To file to disclaim paternity, the following forms are required (instructions can be found here):

  • Case Information Sheet – JDF 1000,
  • Petition to Disclaim Paternity – JDF 1514,
  • Summons to Disclaim Paternity – JDF 1515, and
  • Final Order of Paternity – JDF 1516.

To file to modify child support, the following forms are required (instructions can be found here):

  • Verified Motion to Modify Child Support – JDF 1403,
  • Sworn Financial Statement – JDF 1111, and
  • Order Re: Modification of Child Support – JDF 1405.

 

To file for custody orders, the following forms are required:

  • Case Information Sheet – JDF 1000,
  • Petition for Allocation of Parental Responsibilities – JDF 1413,
  • Parenting Plan – JDF 1113,
  • Certificate of Service – JDF 1313, and
  • Order for Allocation of Parental Responsibilities – JDF 1422.

 

To file to modify parenting time, the following forms are required (instructions can be found here):

  • Motion to Modify/Restrict Parenting Time – JDF 1406,
  • Order Re: Modification/Restriction of Parenting Time – JDF 1424.
