Pro Bono Achievement Award Ceremony April 04, 2014   •   Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center

The Colorado Supreme Court created the Pro Bono Commitment Program in 2006 to secure an enduring commitment from Colorado’s legal community to provide free civil legal services to persons of limited means and/or organizations that serve persons of limited means. Each year, the program recognizes law firms, solo practitioners and in-house counsel groups who provide, or commit to providing, an average of at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer. The program is detailed in Rule 6.1 of the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct, encouraging every lawyer to aspire to provide at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services each year.
