Denver Probate Court offers monthly assistance clinics

DENVER – The Denver Probate Court is offering monthly classes and bi-weekly ask-an-attorney clinics for self-represented litigants regarding probate matters.

A class titled “So Now You Are a Personal Representative” is presented the second Friday of each month at 11 a.m. by local volunteer attorneys. It addresses the most common duties and difficulties of personal representatives and includes a question-and-answer session.

“So Now You are a Guardian/Conservator” is a class presented the third Friday of each month at 10 a.m. by Denver Probate Court protective proceeding monitors that covers the responsibilities and reporting requirements of guardians and conservators.

Bi-weekly ask-an-attorney clinics are staffed by local probate and elder law practitioners to address questions regarding probate matters on a first-come, first-served basis. These clinics are held every Monday and Wednesday (except on national holidays) from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
