16th Judicial District offers clinic on protection orders |

LA JUNTA, Colo. – The 16th Judicial District will offer a clinic on protection orders for people representing themselves in court matters and others from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The clinic, to be held in the Division B courtroom of Otero Combined Courts building (13 W. Third Street in La Junta), is free of charge and no pre-registration is necessary.
Topics to be covered include an overview of common situations in which protection orders may be appropriate, service of process and presenting evidence in court, as well as how to file, enforce and modify protection orders.
Information will be provided by Self-Represented Litigant Coordinator Jeremy Dowell and by Colorado Legal Services Staff Attorney Sarah Zane.
