19th Judicial District Court Information Center offers inaugural Legal Fair on June 17, 2015 |

GREELEY, Colo. – The Court Information Center for the 19th Judicial District (Weld County) has scheduled the inaugural Weld County Legal Fair for June 17, 2015, to provide a variety of legal information to area residents.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st Avenue, in Greeley. The first such event in Weld County, the Legal Fair is the result of a combined effort of the Court Information Center, Weld County Legal Services and High Plains Library District.
The Legal Fair will feature classes taught by attorneys, a clinic offering one-on-one time with an attorney, and local community organization booths. Classes include Grandparents Raising Grandchildren at 11 a.m.; Custody and Family Law, 12 p.m.; Child Support, 1 p.m.; Small Claims, 2 p.m.; and Landlord-Tenant, 3 p.m. The Ask-an-Attorney Clinic, which will run from noon to 3 p.m., allows self-represented litigants an opportunity to speak with a local attorney, at no cost, to ask general questions.
Representatives of the Weld County Department of Human Services Area Agency on Aging and Child Support Services, Catholic Charities, A Woman’s Place, Sexual Assault Victim Advocates Center, and the United Way will be present to speak with self-represented litigants.
