Dennis Maes Pueblo Judicial Building slated to open August 5th

Court operations to be relocated between Aug. 1 and 4

PUEBLO – Between Aug. 1 and 4, 2014, the 10th Judicial District (Pueblo County) will be closed to relocate district court, county court and administration from the current courthouse (320 W. 10th Street) to the new Dennis Maes Pueblo Judicial Building (501 N. Elizabeth, Room 116). Probation is relocating from 1120 Court to 501 N Elizabeth, Room 205. Court and probation operations will resume Tuesday. Aug. 5, 2014.

All phone numbers related to the courts will change. The new main number is 719-404-8700. Probation telephone numbers remain the same.

The Dennis Maes Pueblo Judicial Building, named after recently retired Chief Judge C. Dennis Maes, is Colorado’s newest courthouse and is a state-of-the-art facility located in downtown Pueblo. The new five-story, 170,800-square-foot justice center has 17 courtrooms, chambers for judges and magistrates, jury assembly and deliberation rooms, a first appearance center, clerks and administrative offices, probation department offices, training rooms and holding cells.
