TRINIDAD, Colo. – The Access to Justice Committee for Colorado’s Third Judicial District (Huerfano and Las Animas counties) will hold its third annual Ask-A-Lawyer Day event on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Residents of the district representing themselves in non-criminal cases will have an opportunity from 2 to 6 p.m. to meet free of charge with an attorney for a 25-minute consultation at the Las Animas County Courthouse in Trinidad.
Immediately preceding the Ask-A-Lawyer event, an estate planning and elder law presentation will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. Topics covered will include powers of attorney, wills, guardianships, and conservatorships.
Consultations are by appointment only. To make a reservation, contact Self-Represented Litigant Coordinator Kate Johnson at 719-695-6555. Walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available.
The one-on-one meetings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute attorney-client relationships.
