14th Judicial District offers clinics on landlord-tenant legal matters

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – The 14th Judicial District (Grand, Moffat and Routt counties) Access to Justice Committee has scheduled two free clinics this month to provide information on legal issues in landlord-tenant relationships.

Both clinics will be held at the United Methodist Church at 736 Oak Street in Steamboat Springs.

The first clinic is set for Monday, May 14, from noon to 1 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It will cover written lease agreements for tenants, landlords and roommates; security deposits; and eviction issues.

The second clinic on Monday, May 21, also will run from noon to 1 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., covering giving notice to end a tenancy; security deposits; and the eviction process.
