19th Judicial District Court Information Center offers legal fair

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

GREELEY, Colo. – The 19th Judicial District (Weld County) Court Information Center has scheduled its third annual legal fair for Aug. 16, 2017, offering a wide range of services to self-represented litigants at no charge.

The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Weld County Combined Courts, Centennial Center Plaza South Building at 915 10th Street in Greeley.

Parenting classes will be taught in English and Spanish by Lutheran Family Services starting at 8:30 a.m. An Ask-An-Attorney Clinic, offering one-on-one meetings with a local attorney, will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Community organization booths, also available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will be run by the Weld County Department of Human Services, A Woman’s Place, Sexual Assault Victim Advocates, North Range Behavioral Health and United Way 2-1-1.

Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the day. Self-represented litigants with children are asked to make child-care arrangements, as services will not be available to people who bring children to the fair. Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the day.

Discussions with court staff and volunteer attorneys at the event do not constitute attorney-client relationships; the clinic is not a substitute for legal representation.

Sponsoring the event are Weld County Legal Services, the Weld County Family Court Facilitator and the Court Information Center.

For more information, please contact Self-Represented Litigant Coordinators Crystal Guthrie or Miriam Ceja at or 970-475-2410.
