|14th Judicial District offers Ask-A-Lawyer legal clinics|

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – The 14th Judicial District (Grand, Moffat and Routt counties) is offering a series of monthly legal clinics featuring one-on-one time with volunteer lawyers to discuss matters in civil cases.
The free clinics will be available at courthouses in Hot Sulphur Springs (307 Moffat Avenue), Craig (221 W. Victory Way, Suite 300), and Steamboat Springs (1955 Shield Drive) from noon to 2 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
A 30-minute appointment may be scheduled in advance by calling the clerk’s office at any of the three locations: 970-725-3357 in Hot Sulphur Springs; 970-824-8254 in Craig; and 970-879-5020 in Steamboat Springs. Walk-ins will be helped if time allows.
Professional language interpreters will be available at the clinics for Spanish speakers; advance notice is required for interpretation in other languages. Attendees should bring leases, court papers and other related documents to the clinics.
Civil matters that may be covered in the clinics include divorce and custody cases, protection orders, landlord/tenant problems, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and debt problems.
Remaining clinic dates in 2017 are: Feb. 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, Aug. 10, Sept. 14, Oct. 12, Nov. 9, and Dec. 14.
