JURORS FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2021

If you are required to report, please fill out the bottom portion of your Juror Questionnaire form and bring it with you when you report.  Please be advised that there may be a line to enter through Security as temperatures will be taken.  There will be a designated line for you as a Juror when entering the building.  If parking is not available in the Judicial Building parking lot, there is parking available on the street.  Please do not park in any nearby business parking lots, including the dirt lot behind the Judicial Building, as you run the risk of having your vehicle towed at your own expense.

Please bring your own mask or face covering to wear.    You are permitted to bring in plastic see-through bottled water, hand sanitizer, wipes, tissues and pen, however, because of the security system at the Judicial Building, no flavored drinks, food, mace or pocket knives are allowed into the building.  I also suggest that you bring something to read in case of a delay in going to your assigned Courtroom.  Purses will be checked by security personnel at the front door.  We understand there is concern about COVID-19/Coronavirus.  Please be advised we will be complying with the required distancing of you and your fellow Jurors.

Please read the below information carefully as there will be three separate groups reporting at different times.  Due to the required distancing I ask that you please report at your designated time and no more than 10 minutes early.

Jurors with numbers 327 through and including 399 MUST report and check in with the Jury Commissioner in the Jury Assembly room, located to the far right as soon as you go through the metal detector, right before the building exit, on the first floor of the Judicial Building at 501 N. Elizabeth Street at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

As stated within your Jury Summons, requests for Postponements needed to be made 5 days in advance.  No Postponements will be given at this time.

Jurors with numbers 540 through and including 575 DO NOT need to report for Jury Service on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  You are excused, and your Jury Service is complete for the remainder of 2021.

Thank you.

For future Jury Calls, we understand there is concern about COVID-19/Coronavirus and are proactively planning for how our Court operations may change in relation to the virus.  Currently, I ask that you please just follow the instructions on your Jury Summons in the blue box that says "IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ" in calling beforehand for further information.  There are still Jury Trials set and, Statutorily, some may still proceed but will be limited.  If you will be required to report, we ask that you please bring your own mask/face covering to wear and please be advised we will be complying with the required distancing of you and your fellow Jurors.   If possible, please review our Jury COVID-19 video at https://connect.courts.state.co.us/jurypueblo/.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Lila Mears, Jury Commissioner
