COVID-19 AND COURT OPERATIONS
MASKS or face coverings ARE VOLUNTARY in the Adams County Justice Center and Probation Offices.
1. The Adams County Justice Center has resumed full operations and is currently open to the public. Judicial Officers have discretion to determine whether matters will occur in person or remotely.

** TRAFFIC CASES: all cases in DIVISION R (MAGISTRATE JOHNSON) are being heard IN PERSON, with the exception of traffic infractions. Please click here for details and instructions.

3. JURY CALLS: Jury trials have resumed in Adams county as of February 22, 2022.
4. CLERK’S OFFICE: the Clerk’s Office windows will be open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Clerk's Office windows will be closed on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 12:00-1:00pm.

5. PROBATION DEPARTMENT:
- The Probation Department is open for regular business, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
- It is requested that any persons coming into probation buildings are COVID symptom free.
- If you are experiencing any possible COVID symptoms, please do not come to the office and call your probation officer.
- All persons coming into probation buildings will be subject to security screening and should plan additional time if requested to come for an In-Office Appointment.
6. GENERAL INFORMATION: COVID
- PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE COURTHOUSE and call the court to reschedule your court date, request to appear by phone, or receive further instructions if you meet the criteria bellow:
- you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 10 days.
- you have been in direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past fourteen days;
- you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any other respiratory illness symptoms.
