Unified Problem Solving
Court Coordinator

Because we are a large judicial district with six different Problem Solving Courts, the District Administrator requested a position through State Judicial for a Unified Problem Solving Court Coordinator (PSCC).  This position was originally grant funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) in October 2012 for three years and was made permanent in 2015.  This Unified PSCC is not attached to one particular court, which then allows for systemic collaboration and administrative support and coordination.  A few primary areas of involvement are resource coordination, community outreach/networking, policy and research (liaison to and from the State Coordinator’s Office), planning and coordination of local events and trainings, and involvement in individual courts operations.  The Unified PSCC also participates in meetings, projects and committees at the local and state judicial level.
