  • First Appearance Center (FAC), room W119If you have received a ticket or summons and complaint from a police officer that requires your first appearance in court, room W119, please read the information provided to you in it's entirety.  
    • PAYABLE SUMMONS – If you have a payable summons and choose NOT to pay your ticket within the first 20 days to the agency listed, please contact the First Appearance Center at 719-452-5500 no sooner than two weeks prior to the court date listed on your ticket.  These tickets will be handled by phone.  Please note that once your ticket arrives at the courthouse, you may be assessed additional court costs.
    • NON-PAYABLE SUMMONS – If you have a non-payable summons, you will be advised of your legal rights through the WebEx system on the court date and time listed on your summons.  Please refer to the information below for contact and meeting numbers.  Should you have any questions concerning this process, please contact the First Appearance Center at 719-452-5500 or by email 04FAC@judicial.state.co.us.

  • If you are a party to a case and have questions about an upcoming hearing, you may contact the division in which your case has been assigned.  For a list of divisions with contact information, click here.  If you are unsure of the assigned division, click here to search for additional case information.
  • To contact the Probation Department or your Probation Officer, call (719) 452-5900 or email 04Probation@judicial.state.co.us.  When leaving a message, please indicate the level of urgency of your situation.  Due to a high volume of calls and emails, please allow 24 hours for a response.

  • Parites without attorneys may mail documents to the courthouse or in domestic relation cases (legal separation, divorce, child-custody) e-file

If there is a fee to file your documents, please include a check or money order made payable to “Clerk of Court”.  If you are unable to pay, you may file forms “JDF 205 Motion to File Without Payment and Supporting Financial Affidavit” and “JDF 206 Finding and Order Concerning Payment of Fees”.  Please include proof of your income.
