Daniel M. McDonald - 8th Judicial District Judge

Judge Daniel McDonald was appointed to the Eighth Judicial District Court bench on January 18, 2020, by Governor Jared Polis. Prior to his appointment, he worked as a Deputy and Chief Deputy District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District. His work in the District Attorneys Office focused primarily in the area of Sexual Assaults and Crimes Against Children. 

Judge McDonald earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2005 from the University of Colorado School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 2001.
