Chantel Contiguglia - Arapahoe County Judge

Judge Contiguglia is a Colorado native, growing up in Walden, Colorado. She completed her undergraduate degree at Mesa State University in Grand Junction, Colorado, and her law degree at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2007. She started her legal career at the Colorado State Public Defenders Office, practicing exclusively in Jefferson County, handling complex criminal law cases before being appointed to the Arapahoe County bench by Governor John Hickenlooper in 2018. Judge Contiguglia is currently the presiding county court judge for Arapahoe County Court. Her docket consists of exclusively criminal misdemeanor and traffic cases.
