Valerie J. Robison - 21st Judicial District Judge

Judge Robison grew up in Colorado and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1986 and law degree from the University of Denver in 1991.  While in law school she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Sales and Payment.  Judge Robison is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. 

Judge Robison was appointed to the bench on June 14, 2007 by Governor Bill Ritter.  Prior to her appointment, she was serving Mesa County as the Chief Assistant County Attorney for Mesa County.   She had been with Mesa County for 11 years.  Judge Robison previously practiced law with Dyer & Dilts in Cortez, Colorado, and James R. Alvillar, Esq. in Grand Junction, Colorado.
