Meghan Saleebey - 19th Judicial District Judge

Meghan Saleebey (pronounced “Sa lee bee”) joined the 19th Judicial District on May 29, 2018, and presided over the juvenile delinquency and truancy dockets in Division 14.  On Sept. 23, 2019, Ms. Saleebey was appointed as a District Court Judge.  Ms. Saleebey previously worked as a senior deputy district attorney in the Denver DA’s Office juvenile unit and she has been a prosecutor in that office since 2009.  She also has a master’s degree in social work.  Prior to attending law school at Denver University, Ms. Saleebey worked as a victim advocate in the Boulder DA’s Office for two years, a victims rights specialist with the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice for five years, and after graduating from law school she spent one year as the staff attorney at the Colorado Organization of Victim Assistance (COVA) before being hired as a DDA in Denver.
