Honorable Erin Sokol

Judge Sokol was appointed to the district court bench on August 1, 2017.  Judge Sokol graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996 and Georgetown University Law Center in 1999.  Prior to her appointment to the bench, and since 2014, she was a senior attorney at Hogan Lovells US, LLP in Colorado Springs.  She also worked in Colorado Springs as a partner with Sokol & Brewer from 2007 to 2014, as an associate at Mulliken Wiener Karsh Berg & Jolivet, P.C. from 2004 to 2007, and as an associate at Hogan & Hartson LLP from 2000 to 2004.  Judge Sokol began her legal career in 1999 as an associate at Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C.
