The Colorado Coordinating Council on Restorative Justice was created on March 29th 2007 upon the signing of HB 07-1129.  The statute enumerated several items of responsibility for the Council, which include, to the extent that resources permit:

  • To serve as a central repository for information;
  • To support the development of RJ programs;
  • To assist with education and training; and
  • To provide technical assistance as needed.

The State Restorative Justice Council advances restorative justice principles and practices throughout Colorado by providing gateways to information, networking and support.

There is a repository of information available at www.rjcolorado.org.

If you do not find what you need at www.rjcolorado.org please contact the State Coordinator for Restorative Justice in the State Court Administrator’s Office, Matthew Riede at matthew.riede@judicial.state.co.us if you have additional questions.
