Public Access System (PAS)
The Colorado State Courts – Data Access is a web-based application designed to provide government agencies statewide “read-only” access to the Colorado electronic court database. Authorized government agency users have free access to electronic court data. These free access privileges are not for private or unauthorized contract use, and all government agency users must agree to all terms and conditions by agreeing with those at each login session.
Public users may access the Colorado electronic court database through one of two vendors: Acxiom or BIS.
Electronic Filing System (EFS)
Ten years ago, the Colorado Judicial Branch launched electronic filing for District Court civil, domestic, probate, and water cases. Since then, the program has grown to include County Court money and FED cases, as well as Court of Appeals civil, agency, probate and domestic cases. Today, approximately 96% of all civil documents that can be e-filed are e-filed in the district courts across Colorado.

The Future of Electronic Filing in Colorado Courts: ICCES
The Branch’s next generation e-filing program—Integrated Colorado Courts E-Filing System (ICCES) —is now available on a pilot basis for Colorado Small Claims Courts. Self-represented litigants can e-file small claims cases in Adams and Jefferson County through the web-based system.

The Colorado Judicial Branch will expand the ICCES service to the county court, district court, court of appeals and supreme court case types listed below by January 2013.

The e-system is currently available to attorneys licensed to practice law in Colorado, and for the courts and case types listed below.

District Court: General jurisdiction civil, domestic relations, probate, and water cases.
County Court: Civil suits asking for money damages, and FED case types filed pursuant to § 13-40-101 et seq.
Court of Appeals: General civil, agency, probate, domestic cases
*Small Claims: Small claims case types filed pursuant to § 13-6-401 et seq.—available through the Branch’s ICCES program

*Pilot only in Adams and Jefferson County. Future availability in other jurisdictions will be announced on this website.
