The Colorado Judicial Branch launched Phase I of its Colorado Courts E-Filing system (f/k/a ICCES) in April 2011 with a wizard-based e-filing system for Small Claims pro se litigants in Adams and Jefferson County. Phase II started in October 2012 for e-filing into County Civil (money and FED), District Civil, Domestic, Probate and Water cases for law firms, agencies and government users. Phase II is now complete.
All E-Filing expenditures are funded by revenue generated from both E-Filing and the Public Access System, Colorado State Courts Data Access. The E-Filing team will not receive funding from tax dollars for their project. Money that is collected for services provided in the system are governed by CJD 08-02.
