| A balanced approach to Restorative Justice ensures that harm caused to the victim and community is repaired, and any competency issues with the offender are addressed. Diversion agreements are designed to be restorative in nature as opposed to being punitive. All parties involved are encouraged to participate in the creation of a restorative agreement. |
