Organization Objective
Restorative justice principles require that juvenile justice systems devote attention to making amends to victims and the community, increasing offender competencies and protecting the public, through processes in which offenders, victims and the community are all active participants. It involves a balanced programing approach that addresses the needs of the victim, offender and community through processes that preserve the safety and dignity of all involved.
