The 1st Judicial District Probation Department serves Jefferson and Gilpin Counties. It is divided into areas responsible for case management and supervision of offenders placed on formal probation by the court.  These units include: Adult, Adult Specialized, Domestic Violence, DUI, Intensive Supervision Probation, Juvenile, Pre-Sentence Investigation, Sex Offender, and Support Staff.
