There appears to be another scam that has found its way to our state. It comes by way of a text message and reads "The courthouse has your name in the newspaper for failure to appear for jury duty. This is a 24-hour number for U to check: xxx-xxx-xxxx." This is a joke that has been spreading across the country and please disregard. Thank you.
