Reporting Schedule

JURY REPORTING INFORMATION

Make sure you check this information after 4 p.m. the day before you are to report; it is subject to change prior to that time.  Doing so may save you a trip to the Justice Center.

Penalties for failure to obey a juror summons:  A person who fails to obey a juror summons may be fined up to $750.00, or imprisoned for up to six months, or both per Colorado Revised Statutes 18-8-612 and 18-1.3-501.

The general public is not allowed to bring food or drink into the Justice Center but jurors may bring food or drink into the building.  You must show security your jury summons in order to bring food or drink into the building.

NOTE:  If your particular date is not included on this page it means the trial schedule has not yet been finalized and you should plan to appear per your summons.

Locate the DATE you were summoned to appear on the table below to find the status of your juror number.

If called to report:  

Please be prompt.  Please complete your juror questionnaire, tear it off from your summons, and bring it with you when you report.  This questionnaire is located on the back of your summons.  Please note you will be reporting to the Mesa County Justice Center located at 125 North Spruce Street.  The jury assembly room is on the third floor.  Please park in Lot B at the corner of Spruce and Main.  This parking lot is located on the South side of the building. Overflow parking is available at Two Rivers Convention Center at 1st and Main. Do not park in the numbered employee parking lot to the North of the building or the Sheriff Department parking lot. Do not park at a meter.  If you are riding the Grand Valley Transit bus, you may ride for free by showing the bus driver your jury summons. Since you must pass through a metal detector to enter the Justice Center, please do not bring any scissors, knives, mace, etc. with you.  Please do not bring newspapers with you to jury service.  Also, you may not bring children with you to jury service.

A vending machine is located in the Jury Assembly Room, however, you may not eat in the courtroom and you may only drink water in the courtroom so plan accordingly for that. Hand sanitizer and wipes are also placed throughout the building.  There will be no magazines so you may want bring your own reading material; laptops are allowed, however, reading material and laptops may only be used while you are not in the courtroom.   

Arriving late may result in being rescheduled to the following jury day.
